Gross of fees. All investment balances, growth amounts, income figures drawn from investments, and rates of return in this illustration are shown gross of fees; that is, before the deduction of investment advisory fees and other costs, including fund operating expenses, transaction costs, and custodial or account fees. Assumed rates of return are gross figures. Fees and expenses are deducted from an account over time and reduce returns, and their effect compounds: results net of fees would be lower than those shown, and the difference grows with the size of the account and the length of the period. XYZ Company’s advisory fees are described in its Form ADV Part 2A, available upon request.
All results are hypothetical illustrations for educational purposes only and are not a guarantee, forecast, or projection of future performance. Rates of return and inflation are user-entered assumptions held constant for every period; actual returns vary from year to year, and investments can lose value, including loss of principal. Figures do not reflect taxes unless explicitly stated. Social Security amounts are user estimates in today’s dollars, assumed to rise with inflation; actual benefits depend on the earnings record, claiming age, and future law. RMD estimates use the IRS Uniform Lifetime Table and current starting ages and are not tax advice. Savings account comparisons hold one annual rate constant, compounded monthly; actual yields change over time. Bank deposits are typically FDIC-insured up to applicable limits, investments are not.
